ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Raised in a small village in Brittany, Manon Lagrève grew up on a farm, where food was celebrated as the core of family life. In 2018 Manon entered The Great British Bake Off, reaching the quarter final. Since then, she has been sharing her creations online and has over 650k followers on Instagram and over 375k followers on TikTok. Manon lives in London with her husband and children.

Jill Nguyen is the celebrated bread baker and cake artist behind Capitol Jill Baking, a bakery and cake workshop specializing in sourdough bread, pastries, and modern cakes in the heart of Capitol Hill, DC. A first generation Vietnamese-American, Jill’s obsession for bread baking started from a passion to feed her community, and the cult-like following soon led her to leave her corporate life to pursue a creative career working with flour and sugar. Her work has been featured in the Washington Post, New York Times, San Francisco Chronicle, NBC, Eater, Washingtonian, and the Michelin Guide.
