A scarce early Barbadian community cookbook, offering a snapshot of mid-20th century island cooking and domestic food traditions. Published locally in a small format, with recipes reflecting both Barbadian and broader West Indian influences. Highlights include Turtle Steaks with sherry sauce, full page advertisements, and helpful hints like "A stew boiled is a stew spoiled."

Comb binding is missing two rings. Light discoloration of front and back covers. Pages are bright and clean.
