Julia Grace Designs Greeting Cards

Julia Kagan is a visual artist and creative located in the Mount Pleasant neighborhood of Washington, DC, where she is an active member of the Mount Pleasant Artists Collective. Her mediums span paint, pastel, printmaking, mixed media, and collage.

Julia is inspired by animals and the natural environment that she engages with both at home and while traveling. Originally hailing from Massachusetts, creatures native to the Northeastern US are often depicted in her work.

She is also fascinated by personal ephemera - the objects that we surround ourselves with and place on our table that help to form our sense of identity. She regularly arranges still lives with her own beloved objects and culinary delights.
