One Last Bold Fork Bake Club: SHEET CAKES with Zola Gregory & Jill Nguyen
September 13, 2026 @ 05:00pm
Join us for our final Bold Fork Bake Club all about sheet cakes with author Zola Gregory & local baking officionado Jill Nguyen
We're closing our doors on September 30th and we'd love to see you for a final Bold Fork Bake Club happening in our shop. We started this three years ago and we want to eat cake in community, with all of you.
Here’s how it works: Everyone will prepare a sheet cake from SHEET CAKES by Zola Gregory. Then, you'll get to ask the author (and local baking legend Jill Nguyen!) about their baking inspiration, tips, and more. Prior to the event, you’ll receive a spreadsheet to list your chosen dish.
Then we’ll gather in the shop to make memories and share a feast! We’ll talk through the process of procuring ingredients, challenges and unexpected pleasures of the baking process, and many other things related to SHEET CAKES.
If you purchase a copy of the book from us with your ticket, you can pick it up in our store or have it shipped for an additional cost.
Please note: Because of the high demand of this event, we will not be able to process refunds. We will email you as soon as the book is ready for pick up!
ABOUT THE BOOK
hrough 51 nostalgic, unique, and downright delicious recipes, Sheet Cakes! teaches how to use the humble sheet pan to its full potential—crafting not only no-fuss single-layer rectangles, but roll-up cakes, and layered cakes, too.
Humble and sweet. Reliable yet versatile. A real crowd-pleaser, you might say. What’s that? The sheet cake, of course. And now it’s been reinvented! With just one 9-by-13-inch cake pan or one 13-by-18-inch half baking sheet, you can bake sophisticated numbers like the Honey Chiffon Cake with Orange Blossom Cream or tried-and-true favorites like the Sour Cream Coffee Cake. No matter which way you cut it, you simply can’t go wrong with a sheet cake.
